My Sensory Experience Poem

A January Walk by the Lake
Brendan Meagher

The things I hear,
Waves crashing is clear.
The things I see,
Icicles and snow on a tree.
The things I feel,
Snow crunching underneath my heel.
The things I smell,
Dry, fresh air, I can tell.
The things I taste,
Cool wind, these moments we can’t waste.
